Beautiful weather for a Thanksgiving Day hike. I felt sorry for the huge number of hikers on the trail because they were so busy yapping amongst themselves and/or looking at the ground and/or simply ignoring what beauty there was to see. Less than 100 yards from the trail head was a group of bighorn sheep that was still there when I completed the hike, yet of all the people I asked, during and after the hike back at the trail head, only one couple had noticed the sheep.

Typical Peralta hike for me... up to Fremont Saddle, off to the East and returning via the Cave Trail for a loop instead of an out-and-back.
