Second attempt this year and still we didn't get to the ruins.

Back in May we ended up at the Cold Spring Canyon ruins by mistake, vowing to return for another attempt. Unfortunately a GPS track I had obtained for the trip to the Pueblo Canyon ruins was bogus, leading us some distance toward the ruins, only at an elevation 500' below where we needed to be.

By time we backtracked and got on the correct trail we realized even if we only spent a few minutes at the ruins we'd be back to the car well after sunset. Then we'd have the still have the drive out Cherry Creek Rd and up 288 to where our campsite was at Workman Falls.

Oh well, with photos from across the way as well as from above (which we did the next day) we will plan on a whole day just for the ruins.
