Departed the TH to hike this loop in a clockwise direction about 8:35. Once up and crossing the middle of the mesa, a MCSO helicopter worked the area to the North East for approximately 20+ minutes between 9:30 & 10:00. On the home bound half of the loop I ran into Snakemarks and of course, recognized her from HAZ. I've passed other HAZers before on the trail and never introduced myself so in an effort to clean up my act, I did stop and introduce myself. She was kind enough to answer my questions about route finding for a future hike. (Based upon everything I've read about her, I REALLY wanted to ask her for a cookie but thought it a bit forward for our first meeting :A1: ) Returned to the parking lot about Noon and found it nearly overflowing. My car was one of only a half dozen with Arizona plates. Nice hike but seemed very short for 9 miles. I guess time seems to go by much faster when you're not hanging off the side of a cliff in fear for your life :scared: (Thank you Tough_Boots for that little adventure ;) )
