Yesterday presented the perfect morning for a short drive and hike along the Salt River. Fortunately, our timing was right on so the pups and I were able to spend some moments with the herd of stallions that frequent these hills around the Bluff. Since we also saw a number of foals, I suppose it is safe to say that they are not all wild stallions. Fortunately both horse and dog have a mutual respect for each other and no one gets bitten or kicked. After the short hike, the dogs were able to frolic along the Salt which is at a really low level this time of year.
