| | | Deciding to walk the rough stuff rather than drive it, I parked my truck 0.7 miles past Sorin Camp, at a convenient turn around. I passed a 30+ foot dry waterfall and Pear Tank before making the last little climb up to Sorin Pass, on a very nasty stretch of road. The view from Sorin Pass was everything I had hoped for, and I went out to a nearby overlook point to enjoy the sunset. I took a ton of photos before hiking back at dusk down icy Sorin Canyon to my truck. Sorin Camp Road makes a great hike, and is a better choice than driving it in my opinion.
