I did this trail as an out and back from the north trailhead. I think one side starts 108ft higher so I deducted that much from the doubled aeg. I hit the trail at 6:35 and was by the visitor center when the sunrise kicked off. Nice Arizona sunrise and a peacefull quite one.I stopped and visited with three coyotes on the way back. They were looking for the hare as always. I saw one hiker as I was almost back to the North trailhead.I stopped and paid my respects at the prospectors gravesite on the way out.Sounds like they would have some good stories to tell.Nice morning hike and the weather was great!
