Another fun late afternoon lunchbreak visit to the Stronghold...I hiked up to Half Moon Tank. On the return hike, I saw what looked like a shoelace laying in the trail. I knelt down to discover that it was a slow moving juvenile snake. I had never seen one like it, and was anxious to find out what it was. It turned out to be a Sonoran Lyresnake.
