This is a nice hike through the center of South Mountain Park. The trail is clearly marked. It is steadily uphill, and ends at a ridge high above the Park valley, at the intersection of the National Trail (see last photo). There are great views of downtown and the Estrellas at the top.

All the usual fauna and flora are available, and I only crossed 6 people on the whole hike!
