Took a cute gal to enjoy this beautiful canyon. :D Not too shabby for a non-technical canyon... Started on the other side of the creek from Tortilla Flat since that place was a mad house as expected when we arrived. Followed the creek on the way in but took the trail on the way back out to save time. Some older hikers in the canyon saw my chacos and told me that I wouldn't be able to go very much further before turning back... Ohh really?!? Yo old timer, you ever hear of a website called HAZ and that crazy guy calling himself Vaporman. I highly doubt this easy lil canyon will be the end of me. :sl: Tortilla Canyon is a wide rock hop but lower Peters is always such a beautiful gem to play in. The creeks were lightly flowing without too much algae yet, so the pools were full and the falls lightly flowing. Such a great place to spend a warm Satruday afternoon and introduce another hiker to the amAZing canyons around here. :D
