The brother-in-law was taking his niece up to snow board so sis and I hitched a ride up with to bum around in the trees. We didn't have too long so we headed out to Marshall Lake for starters. The road was closed still one mile out so we hiked down then walked half the lake until deciding to head away on the 9482Q. We took the fence line cutting across to Little Dry Lake (which was decently full), and ate lunch at the old Ford work van. We set out from there towards Prime Lake staying off the road in hopes of coming across more critters. The wind Saturday added some headwind work crossing the mesa. Made it to Prime and then headed back to the truck. Getting closer to their pick-up time, we headed back up the mountain and did a quick hike to Veit Springs.
