This day we did a driving "scouting trip" to our Mazatzal Wilderness- Mount Peeley/Sheep Mountain areas to confirm FR201-FR3348 road access and to clean-up the four campsite areas along the .45 mile section of FR3348 at 6105ft elevation for our upcoming HAZ and AZH camping- GPSjoe search hiking event to be scheduled for Wed-4/27 to Mon-5/2/11 (5 nights/6 days).

I am now pleased to report that:
..FR 201 driving access to the Mount Peeley TH is now completely free of snow/ice/mud/down trees and as of this writing is dry and considered drivable by "high-clearance 2WD vehicles" (cars/sedans not recommended as always);
..FR3348 driving access to the four(4) available campsite areas along the .45 mile section is completely free of down trees, snow, ice, and almost now completely dry and free of all wet/mud spots; More access information related to the four campsite areas is now available in this Hike Description;
..Regarding Mount Peeley and Sheep Mountain trail access conditions: all drainages are now flowing with winter snow melt and any and all trail snow (on trail and off trail) is expected to be completely melted by this coming Sunday-4/3/11;
