Got an early start, made good time, and added a couple miles at the end by going to Roger's Canyon Ruins. Saw only two people the entire day. Longest day hike for me. The scenery was great and although I've been to Roger's canyon the rest of the trip was unexpectedly scenic and new. I had concerns about the distance, but it was not as bad as I thought it would be especially after a 6 week hiatus. I'm pretty sure after the hike as we were unloading the vehicle there was an agreement not to make the next hike 24 miles. The temperature was great and will hopefully hold for a couple more hikes in the Supes before it gets too hot. Looking forward to the next hike.
