spent a couple days in jerome and sedona with a friend
i've had this hike on my wish list for some time
thought the weather might not cooperate, but it turned out to be a pretty nice day
this has to be one of my favorite arizona hikes
it starts out easy enough, but there are three or four good uphill sections
the route was cairned throughout, and route finding was easy enough
i love how the terrain changes from red dirt and rock to beige slick rock to the pines and scrub on top
incredible views all along, especially those into boynton canyon
hiking time is an estimate, given the time spent taking photos and wandering around at the top
