18.6 one way driving miles into the Sierra Ancha Mountain Range from Pumpkin Center,AZ, to the historic Dupont Cabin begins this very rugged "route finding" loop hike into a remote section of the Upper Salome Wilderness to include an upper Salome Creek crossover at its confluence with Dupont Canyon.

Thanks to excellent planning and route finding execution by Eric, we were successful in safely completing this most memorable loop hike with memories to last a lifetime and only cuts and bruises to soon heal.
