Well this is a hike i will have to do again. I failed at finding the actual spring. I followed the "Fossil springs" trail sign for a short distance. I turned around then hiked about 2 hours upstream. After about 30 minutes I realized I was going the wrong way, and didnt want to back track. It still turned out to be a great hike, I just missed out on the interesting stuff. I should have researched the trail more before I hiked it. Lesson learned.

PS When you come to the fork near the stream,follow the "Fossil spring" trail. GO DOWN STREAM:P
