Did this as a solo out and back from Antelope Creek Road. The extra distance is due to a couple of missed turns on the way north and some exploration at the north end. As with my two previous hikes on the BCT its only 45 minutes to the trailhead from I-17 and SR74, Carefree Highway.

At the north end the trail does appear to continue but it hasn't been maintained recently and seems somewhat faint. However, there were some blue ribbons so I may check it out in the future.
