I found my new favorite hike in Flag! :)

Snow, Sleet, & Rain and only 2 days left in May! - (I love this State!)...Can't wait for all the beautiful fall colors. The Loop is so very much covered with snow. Turned right and charged up Abineau and hit snow about 8600'. Real deep over 9500' for about 4 miles - with depths of 6'+. I ventured to 11300' and had to turn around - began to snow. Windchill felt around 26 degrees. Couldn't even use my fingers to snap the buckles on my pack. The snow levels decreased as I turned back and began my decent down the Bear Jaw.

As reported, an awesome avalanche took place over the winter. Check out some of the digi's - can't put into words - but pretty awesome no less.

This is the one folks! Perfect I bet from Aug. to Nov. Its a nice cool hike & lots of shade and big - and I mean BIG trees! ~W O N D E R F U L!~
