The Eagle
Ahhhh, another chance to do a passage of the AZT.Joe,Dave,Bruce and I hit the trail around 8:00am.Temps were ok.There are some nice rolling hills, lots of vegetation but not tall enough to shade us.Throw in some nice boulders and a wash here and there and it was a nice 8 miles. It did heat up by 11:00 but it was only 8 miles after all :D .Thanks gentlemen, see you on the next one. :y:

How To Put Out a Campfire
A campfire must be extinguished by drowning it with water, stirring with a shovel, and repeating that process until the campfire is cold to the touch. A campfire is still a danger if it has any trace of heat, and must not be left or abandoned. Wildfires can begin by abandoned campfires that rebuild heat on windy days and then blowing embers ignite surrounding grasses and brush.
