Warm weather, but a lot cooler than Phoenix especially with the wind gusts. The parts of the trail that go around the skinny "legs" of the lake are very lush. Saw one bald eagle, but not the nests. The trail was diverted around the nesting area which added a little bit of distance onto the route. Pictures to follow...
