This trail is from the bottom of the Yosemite Valley to Glacier Point via the Four Mile Trail. It is a very steady climb the entire way up. The trail is actually 4.7 miles one way, and the touristy part is at the top at Glacier Point. The hike up is not as populated and very scenic around every corner. You can see all of Yosemite Falls along the way, Half-Dome and the valley below you as you climb and climb. The views from Glacier Point are amazing, which is why it is teeming with people, but the views along the hike up were equally as good.
