This was my attempt to wear out an 8 month old Jack Russell. Turns out, not even Humphreys could accomplish this task. Even with the puppy pulling me up the last 1.5 miles and 1/2 down the mountian, she didnt slow down a bit. The puppy took a 2 hour nap on the way home, and was still going that night and early this morning when I got up for work. She wanted more!!

Great hike, with some bad planning. I would have enjoyed Humphreys more if I didnt leave my house at 2:30 am from Phoenix at 1,100ft and find myself at 12,600 ft 9 hours later. It was messing with my head. We did get down off the mountian before it started really raining, and of course the views where awsome at the top.....
