| | | The weather in Glacier was not conducive to hiking on the Friday of our trip, so we opted instead for more of an auto-tour with short jaunts into the wild. One of the delightful surprises of the day was Trick Falls, also known as Running Eagle Falls. The trail was beautiful, and provided plenty of opportunities to learn about native flora and fauna (including how to distinguish the difference between elderberry and ash). The waterfall was probably a little to vigorous for the "trick" part of the falls to reveal itself, and the creek flowing across the base was too strong and deep for us to cross. Nevertheless, we managed to thoroughly enjoy ourselves until the rain drove us back to our car and up to the Two Medicine Store. | _____________________
