Did an out and back on this lightly used trail. For as close to town as it is, it sees far fewer people on a weekday than the Fatman's Loop does.Much quieter than the loop, and no dog food smell. Very green and the grasses along the south face of the Dry lake Hills are diverse and healthy. Still, something about this hike made me feel like autumn is approaching.
