Tired of record Temps of 117 in the Valley, it was time to get wet and play in the water...
This one has been on my list for awhile now. How about a little, less than 4 mile, swim/rock hop/hike, to spend the day.

Well... best laid plans...Bla,Bla, Bla. 4 miles turned into 14 miles because of 10 miles RT of Forrest Road walking required due to recent rains, forecasted rains, and a non-four wheeled drive vehicle. So after a 1 mile of driving off 260 on Tom's Creek Road (aka FR142), we started our day.

We made our way to the Drop in point, noticing a Jeep and a couple of tents up top. We later met HAZ'er SurvivorDude and two of his friends in the Creek below. Once at the bottom, Denny blew up our PFD's (Floaties)and it was to the water. It felt so good. Entering the White Box on our PFD's was Awesome. Pictures do not even come close to doing this entire area justice.

About an hour into the creek, the thunder started crackling around us. We all pretended not to hear it and kept going. After about 11 pools from the place we dropped in, we finally arrived at the Hanging Gardens. WOW.... I'd love to see the origin of this spring. It's surprising that it's not even marked on a TOPO Map??

We ate our lunch at the Garden and then made our way back. On the way back, the Kids played on the rope swing in White Box... Sorry no pictures of that, my camera stopped working at that point.

A Great Day up in WCC!!
Thanks Joe and Denny for joining me.
