:y: Another great Arizona hike. Thanks to Bruce and Joe for letting me join them on this awesome hike. The road going in was pretty rough so we walked a little over five miles each way.The creek was awesome and pics don't do it justice.A tube and wet bag are a must(in my opinion). The swims are very cool.Just laying back on the tube and checking out the canyon views was great.Lots of little ttout and crayfish. The boulder hopping wasn't to bad but the rocks under water are SLIPPERY.I used a three foot tube and felt like Farley in the "FAT man in a little coat".I'm going with the four foot next time.Joe had a four foot and it looked a lot easier to hold your pack on your lap. Hanging Garden is awesome. We ate our lunch there in a light rain with a little thunder.Your already wet and the views are great so you hardly notice the rain :).The trip back up the creek went great. The rope swing(Thank You) was great and we all tried it a time or two or....The climb out was a little work but well worth it.The muddy road out added a few pounds to our shoes but what you gonna do :).A big thanks to Bruce for driving and Joe for leading. :y:

Finally a Great Hiking App This is a must have for the avid or even beginning hiker. Easy to set up and use. The Topo maps and the ability to download a track prior to hiking, will ensure I get out of the Wilderness OK. If I set my phone to Airplane Mode, (GPS On) I've gone 13 hours with battery to spare. Recent upgrades have made this very user friendly for both the occasional Hiker/Walker to the All Day Hikers. Lots of Stats available to keep track of what you are doing.
