As part of my first time ever trip to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, we did this pleasant hike out to a point with nice views. Though you only drop several hundred feet from start to end point, all the ups and downs add up. It was a little tougher on a very warm day. Several fires burning in the area added to the overall haziness at times. Not a bad hike if you don't feel like dropping into the big ditch.
