My first hike after moving to the valley at the end of August. Great clouds and light made photography the focus of this sunset hike, so I did not quite make it to the summit, falling about two tenths of a mile and a hundred vertical feet short. Not to worry, as this one is about a 30 minute drive from my apartment, so I'll be back during the nice fall or winter weather to get to the top.
