Decided to go storm chasing up in Sedona on Fri and Sat... unfortunately the storms stayed SOUTH (BAH) Hiked off of Chaves Ranch Rd to the mesa above Crescent Moon Ranch park and shot some of Cathedral formation with the reflections in the water... the moon rose but I was in the wrong spot... to be remedied on Sat.

I car camped up on top of Schnebly Hill, serenaded all night long by elk bugling. Took some time lapse of Sedona and lightning to the west.

Sat morning I shot some along the descent along Schnebly Hill Rd, then proceeded to West Fork, where I hiked in my Five-Fingers without issue, mostly along the creek trying to get detail shots using flash. 2 hours in and 1 out because clouds were forming and I didn't have good water protection for the gear (D'OH!)

Went to Red Rock Crossing and the crowds were thick at the creek, so I climbed the butte (Baldwin?) just to the west of Cathedral formation and shot the sunset with the full moon rising thru the spires. Caught an amazing moon-lit thunderstorm nearing Cordes Junction.
