We started this hike at the Horse Trap TH located along Hwy 260. We followed the trail for a ways but a one point there was a fork in the trail and we opt for the one that went toward the lake. At times it was difficult to find a path and I think we were on game trails sometimes. It was an easy hike and the lake was beautiful. It was our first time to this lake and it seems to be very popular and busy.
