I'd climbed to the top of this little gem before, but since the time I did that, 2HIKERZ has completed this track making it a loop now. THANKS!
It was a beautiful morning with cool temps and a nice breeze.
After getting to the top, I started down the new section of this trail. The trail is a little thin in places, but if you keep a keen eye out, cairns are strategically placed. Also keep an eye out for orange tape.
I spotted a nice looking buck Mule Deer on my way down the North side. I don't think he ever saw me.
The Wild Burros were making quite a racket. I saw a group of two, and then another group of about 8. | _____________________

My son, who is in the Air Force, is in town for the Holidays. Our first pick for the day would have been too cold with the high winds this morning. We opted for this short one, close to home, that way he could get home and finish his Christmas shopping early this year! Must have been to cold for the wildlife. The Burros must have been in their Burrows. | _____________________
