I came up with loop hike using satellite imagery I found on Google Earth. The hike originates from an old road that forks off of road 117. From there I set a series of waypoints that seemed to follow a natural pattern of open meadows. Encountered a lot of down trees along the way, so the upper reaches (around 9500 feet) offered a few obstacles here and there, but nothing all that difficult, other than dodging occasional catclaw. Beautiful aspen are at peak fall color throughout the area.

This is my gym. I have to travel down a bumpy road to get there. There are no treadmillls, no machines, and no personal trainers. I walk..I run..I breathe the fresh air. I can go any time I want, as much as I want and there is no membership fee.
