Went up to Flagstaff to hike Humphreys one last time before the end of the year. Few people and on the trail and really nice weather made for a great hike. Most of the aspens in the Inner Basin were bare, and north facing slopes were still coated in snow from a few weeks earlier. I was reluctant to leave the summit but the sun was getting low, so down I went. Played among the remaining golden aspens on the way down, and had a great relaxing hike. Drove home through Oak Creek Canyon and Jerome on the way home. Fun day!
