Feeling the need to get to some snow, decided to head up to Prescott. The road in was a little slushy/icy, but not anything too bad. Parked at the junction of Poland Road/Senator Hwy and FR 52. Took a few little side trips getting snow pics and just exploring, then headed up to the Mount Union lookout. Some sweet clouds and temps in the mid-30's, was having too much fun to quit there, so decided to hit Mount Tritle before heading back. The snow and ice made that last 1/2 mile a long, slippery push, the summit was a very welcome sight. Great workout for the legs and lungs, no so much for the feet and ankles. Still a few oaks with colorful leaves, the maples and aspens were pretty faded.
