Parked at Bootjack. Took Matt Davis Trail to Stinson Beach then Dipsea the mile up to Steep Ravine back to the car. Saw a lot of trail runners on Matt Davis even though it doesn't seem to be nearly as good for that as many other trails in the general vicinity. Many of the trail runners provided a little extra motivation. *Ahem*
Beautiful day with light clouds and moderate sunshine. 5:02 PM sunset meant I had to finish in the dark with the headlamp, but the last section I hiked was paved which is a good thing because I apparently need a better headlamp. Saw a few families still headed down Steep Ravine as the sun was setting. I wonder what the 2 ladies who were carrying babies in papooses thought when they got to the ladder.
