Train chasing, not storm chasing. Some pictures and video of the train pulled by steam locomotive UP844. This was the last passenger steam locomotive delivered to the Union Pacific Railroad back in 1944, and has only been out of active service for brief periods since then. Mostly used for railfan events and special commemorative trains such as this, celebrating the upcoming statehood centennials for New Mexico and Arizona. I caught up to it at Coolidge and followed it down to the mainline at Picacho, then on to Casa Grande, where it made a whistle stop before heading to points west. I didn't have my best camera with me, so I apologize for the quality. I have also included a link to a video of it leaving Picacho.
