My Thanksgiving day tradition of hiking instead of over-eating continues in Tucson at Wasson Peak! Note, there is parking at the trailhead which differs from a few websites that mentioned parking at the Sonoran Desert Museum (which is nearby across the street). Trail was not crowded this turkey day and the views were awesome. Some interesting mines/cave openings on the mountain (guarded by barbwire fence). The grey clouds/skies of the early afternoon transformed to white/blue and one of the most beautiful sunsets these eyes have ever witnessed. Great hike recommended to all, be it holiday or just average ordinary day!!!
