Oh, man... my feet are still sore from this one.

Barnhardt-->Mazzie Divide-->Bear Spring-->backtrack on the Divide-->come back via Y-bar

We made good time on Barnhardt. This is always an awesome trail-- definitely a favorite. The rest was new territory for me and Rachel. We headed down the Divide because I wanted to check out Bear Saddle and Bear Spring. The extra miles were worth it. Its a great area. We came back and finished the loop with the Y-bar. Some parts of the Y-bar are nice but much of it is destroyed and we were slowed down by route finding and hopping over fallen trees. I don't think I'll probably do this trail again. It clears up, though, the closer you get to the trailhead. It was also nice to see young pines growing in the burn area. We couldn't tell whether they had been planted or not-- they all seemed about the same size.
