Needed to connect the dots, which I did. Got to small falls and frozen pool under the cliffs at the ranch house. Plenty of water and ice. Easy to bust your rumpus if you aren't paying attention. I made a nice loop out of the lovely small red canyons, and unerringly did a short cross country sans map, compass or anything else. Brian is a lot better than me at orienteering but I am not bad. Photogenic area, some private and public land.
