Took advantage of an afternoon off of work and went for a hike/ruin hunt in Long Canyon. I didn't find the ruins I was looking for, but found a few nonetheless. A couple from Colorado were exploring the off trail ruins as well. I scrambled up some of the lower canyon walls, checking out small alcoves before concluding my off trail adventure at an enormous alcove at the base of the main cliff wall. I returned to my truck at dusk, scratched, bleeding, and itching for more. A great day!
