My buddy Patrick and I decided to get out of the valley. We headed up to see how much snow was left up on Four Peaks.

It was a prefect day and we got an early enough start that the snow we came across was still firm enough for the start. We left the saddle to see if we could get to the peak and headed up.

After kicking steps in the hard snow pack for a couple hours we managed to get to the top and be rewarded with crystal clear skies and warm sun.

A bit sloppy on the way down as the temperature rose. We rewarded ourselves in the parking lot with cold leftover pizza and a couple cans of Dale's Pale Ale.
