Fun weekend in west Cochise with a good crew of HAZers and a handful of other people passing through or sharing a fire and a beer. I'd never been here before, and was very impressed with the scenery of the Dragoons. It was really cold Friday night, about 40 by 8pm with ice on the dog dish in the morning, but Saturday was a little cloudy and surprisingly warm, in the 50s for most of the night.

Somehow we were denied the promised chili dinner, but the pecan pie brown was tasty, the cornbread was one of the best I've ever had, the aquavit was a warming influence, and as always, the guitar songs were a highlight. Can't wait for the next edition and hope we can get a few others to join us.
