It was raining when Chris and I arrived at the trailhead. After about 10 minutes the rain stopped and we were on our way. The ground was wet and mucky in spots. The rain started and stopped a few times in the first mile. Once we got up to the ravine it was pouring. The whole top of the mountain was socked in. Winds were blowing 15 mph. We tried to wait out the rain, but it wasn't letting up any time soon. Since we were both soaked by now and the climb was getting very slick, we decided to call it quits. The car heater sure felt nice once we got down. Better luck next time. Thanks for driving Chris.
