A quick overnighter. At garden Valley we took a left (on accident) and didn't go to Boulder Canyon. Instead we found ourselves in Hackberry Springs area and it was quite delightful. After the decent towards the spring, there are several multi person camp areas. I felt like there should have been a front desk to check in at. Water was lightly flowing and firewood was cut. A real comfy place. The mesa is dotted with some amazing photography spots, especially seeing that it collects the last drop of sunlight as good as anything I've seen in those parts. Beware, the chollas are NASTY out here :scared: My lil dog caught the brunt of them and I am stick pulling the out of here. This is a highly recommended overnighter if time is a concern.
