I was thinking I would do this twice on Sunday, but I got to Page a little later then I wanted, and it was chilly with a breeze. Feeling demotivated from the cold, I took my time eating my lunch and got to Lee's Ferry around 2:30. Consequently, I only had enough time to hike this once. It was overcast, too, and things didn't look a nice as I hoped, but they still looked pretty good. I went to the high point labeled at 4741' near the trail top, and then to the orchard at the ranch. I would like to pick and eat fruit from there, be it apples, pears, or my favorite, peaches. It looked like salts were coming up out of the soil and depositing on the surface. That is what it looked like, at least.
