We didn't have a plan in place the night before so we set out for an area I done some 4x4 recon in last fall and see what we come up with. It ended up with almost no hiking and a lot of driving through new areas. We left SR177 some distance south of Superior and came out near Magma Mine in the Oak Flats area. Just before heading home we saw a group of Jeeps approaching a steep smooth-rock hill followed by a line of successive steps to climb, so we hiked down to that area and filmed the group as they traversed the various obstacles. My HeroHD had no zoom so I relied on Tracey to do the filming, and she did a fabulous job. I posted them on my web site and the Jeep folks loved them.
