quick overnighter with the boys. Car camped just outside of Don's Camp. Lots of coyotes howling all night. Hit the trail around 9am, upper parking was full and lower was nearing full. Many people on the trail. Cardinal calling in the trees up the canyon. Poppies blooming on the slopes. Ventured out to the Pine and then back down by 1130.
