Expanding the flower hunt on some challenging terrain, rocky, loose, cacti filled in spots. I like something to compose in some shots besides the flowers and saguaros, steep hills and blue skies fit the bill. Other flowers coming on. Not the lush bloom of a few years ago but pretty nice. Some of the poppies are already looking scorched by the heat. Too high a sun angle in some shots and surprisingly warm, need to get acclimated. My ankle held up well although I was sidehilling quite a bit.
