Awesome group of hikers! Good thing because this is one tough hike. About half the hike is over difficult terrain or fighting through brush and catsclaw. Very enjoyable scenery and company made up for the difficulty. The first third of the hike is very easy. Nice trails and little elevation gain, which you pay for later lol. Wally, John, and I checked out a copper mine and got buzzed by a bat going in and out. Had a great time meeting and talking with the group along the way. Thanks Ken for setting this up. Nice meeting Richard, Fan, Katrina, Amy and Ken for the first time, and seeing everyone else again. Thanks Amy for the post hike refreshments! Hit the spot.
