Went on an overnight backpack trip with my son and his Boy Scout troop. It didn't take much to convince them that camping at the overlook would be much better than right on Fremont Saddle. The rock formations at the overlook are shaped almost like benches and face each other, so a group can sit and talk and tell stories. While taking in the view, it occurred to me that in another setting, people would be willing to pay a pretty penny to have this campsite, and it cost us zero.
