The next great place to go this time of year. Some of the trees were past peak and the leaf litter was gorgeous, in places choked the little stream.
One tree was a great molten gold, I've never seen quite the color. I went up canyon a ways past the show of color, the burned off peaks still quite bald, no snow yet.
Another great day---about 5 others on the trail, birders with binoculars and big tripods.
